The idea for this painting was to produce an image for John Moffitt’s Ivel tractor road run for charity. As I did not manage to complete this painting in time for the event I donated the original to Tractor & Farming Heritage magazine so that they could auction it as part of their fundraising appeal, alongside Pete Kelly’s sponsored 1,000 mile bike ride, for Macmillan Nurses and hospices during Ivel’s centenary year.
